I'm 100% gay and in the closet, but my stomach cringes whenever someone (especially my dad) asks if there are any "cute girls" in my classes, and basically everywhere I go. Is there a way any of you know to answer this question better than just saying no or coming out?

Just because you are gay does not mean there arent cute girls in your class.
Now if asked "are you sexually attracted to the cute girls in your class?"
That would be another situation.

This is basically what they're asking. They don't ask girls this question for a reason. They figure the person answering is attracted to girls and can answer based on that. So i understand his annoyance at this.

Haha, this happens to me as well. My dad thinks I'm in love with a girl in my class, and we actually once had a "talk" about relationships and stuff. The truth is, I'm definitely not attracted to that girl, and probably not attracted to any girl at all...
I know it can get annoying, but you can either deny it (that's what I do) or just tell them you don't give importance only to looks, but also to personality, and you think their personalities wouldn't match yours.

Most people expect most people to be straight because most people are straight, simple as that.

I just shrug and just laugh whenever my dad asks me that question.

Happens with me, not with girls, but people assume I am straight.
