Yet another issues.Recently I've noticed my hair thinning and now i've lost a large noticeable chunk at the front of my head. It's really embarrassing and a bit painful .I'm not usually bothered by what I look like but this is different,I do have a wig although it's synthetic and a bit of a mess.I wanted peoples options on what I should do.
1.wear the wig
2.just wear a hat or head scarf
3.instead of waiting for the rest to fall out shave it for charity
4 any other idea's
I'm really unsure -I'm home schooled, but when I get a place i'll be going back to school and I dont know what to do about the hair situation.I dont even know how fast it will grow or anything.
I saw my heart doctor and asked him ,he's advised I try taking vitamins encase its related to that.If it gets worse he'll get me refer to a dermatologist. What do I do in the mean time ? Im wondering whats causing me to lose hair ,it's awfully strange.

That's amazing
But seriously, what is your condition? What is making your hair fall out? Try some caps, try not to run your fingers through the haior. Try some nice shampoos and conditioners and let me know how it goes!

Speculating is useless without going to a professional, it will only worry you, and maybe for no reason. If it was me, I'd go for the headscarf, that's what I did last year when my mother gave me a horrific haircut. Of course you shouldn't feel obliged to cover it, you said you don't really mind it and there's nothing wrong with going bare headed. Shaving for charity is a nice idea but it's a radical change, so think it through first.

My doctor couldn't see me for another two weeks and I was losing more hair.Instead I went to the hospital and It turns out I have a severe case of alopecia. She said that it was falling out too quickly to stop it with steroids so there wasn't anything she could do.The info says the bald patches should start growing again in about two years although the condition wont go away just goes into remission.Together with the doctor I made the decision to cut the rest off so I didn't need to keep finding hair everywhere, its emotional.I know the stubble will fall out soon and i've been told it could spread to my whole body eyebrows etc ..I dont know how i'll cope with that.
I think I was hoping it would sort in self out with medication or something.I'm kind of in shock still -I never in my life thought i'd get alopecia especially not this type. My mum begged me not to cut the rest off but within a few weeks all of it would have fallen out anyway.
