Not doing well in school

Life sucks dept. I got a C average for the semester. C- in chem almost flunked it. It's harder than middle school and I'd rather daydream and think about things I like. I know this will fuck up school, but it's boring as hell.

Honestly, if it weren't for Science, History, Geography and English, I would've failed school a long time ago. My average in Arabic is a horrible 12/20, Arabic History 9/20, Arabic Sociology 11/20. I day dream a lot, too. Especially in class.

We're taught nothing about Arabic history. All we're taught is the Arabs came boiling out of the middle east about 800 AD or something and started cutting people's heads off. Then Europe lost its collective mind and launched the crusades, which was one of the biggest military failures in history.

By Arabic History I mean the history of Lebanon, which I'm not surprised you are taught nothing about. They don't teach us about the US either, except that it was allied with France and UK in World War II against Japan and Germany. Oh and that you were discovered in 1492 by Christopher Columbus. That's all I know. :P

Between the Phoenicians and the French, it's not like a whole lot happened in Lebanon up till the 70s. :P

It's not just Lebanon, we also have to learn about World War I in complete detail (both in French and Arabic), the way it's affected Lebanon, the Ottoman Empire, the French mandate for Lebanon, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Lots and lots of digs at the Ottomans, and Israel in particular. :P

Did you know Israel isn't even recognized in our history books? It's just replaced by "the occupied Palestine".
