I don't label as anything so not sure if I would be included in the LGBT only but yes it's totally normal. You are going through puberty and when your hormones go crazy, so does your feelings and thoughts. Even some people who are straight have the same feelings that you have. They think about some of the other boys, how big are they? what do they look like naked? It's normal for those going through puberty. Some don't deal with it at all but a lot of us do. It does not mean you are gay or bi, it just means that you are curious.

Yea the same thing used to happen to me until I stopped caring about whether or not people knew I was gay. Just don't worry about it. It's normal and there's probably a lot more guys in there that feel the same way.

I totally get what you mean. You definitely shouldn't be ashamed. Imagine if a straight guy was in the girls locker room. They'd feel exactly the same way. Sexual. We're biologically programmed to want to do it as often as possible, and it's totally fine that that's how you feel.

not many in my school know i'm bi, but i've never felt embarrassed or nervous in the locker room. i'll bet there are bi or gay boys that aren't out that i shower next to, and if there are, i think it's totally cool.
i'll also bet gay, bi and straight boys feel the same way you do at times, so try not to worry about it.

even straight guys will get a boner in the locker room/shower sometimes. I understand your nervous. I go into the locker room and shower realizing I am just here to shower and change like everyone else and try to carry on as normal as possible. I won't lie, I do notice a guy I find attractive in their underwear or whatever now and then, but for the most part I don't try to think on those terms and just focus on what I have to do. sure I still talk to people like most guys do, but I don't try to focus on the I find some of them attractive aspect. it can be tough, but as time goes on you will get to the point where you probably won't even think twice about it

I think all guys experience some of that in a locker room at times. Just because you are gay/bi doesn't mean you can't feel that way at times. As Seth above said, I've seen straight guys get excited in the locker room. Not sure how old the OP is, but the younger you are and your hormones are out of control, it happens. I came out when I was in grade 8, so all the guys knew I was gay in HS and nothing ever happened and all of us got erect many times. Just relax in the locker room and you'll be fine.

I avoid it as much as possible and make a lot of effort not to stare. It's really awkward and I hate it.

You shouldn't feel ashamed in the slightest about how your mind works! Gay people like to be treated no differently than straight people. A straight person wouldn't be ashamed of feeling sexual in a girls locker room so you shouldn't in a boys'
