Depends. When I'm seeing someone I generally do whatever they do with regard to shaving. When I'm not, I see no reason to waste the effort keeping it shiny bare.

Never trimmed but it's still at a short, curley length. I honestly don't know how I'd do it and what to use.

For me, man my pubes was a bush and it started to bug me, so I trimmed them. Soon after, it irritated my penis, so put lotion on your pubes if they start to bug you. Also, in a week or so, your pubes will group up. Also, here is a tip, don't cut the hair on your penis shaft, you might cut a nerve or might damage your penis. Remember, use your personal scissors.
