How do you meet people to date?

I have a problem about meeting new people, i have really bad social anxiety, especially the first time i am meeting people. I can't be myself so how can i show them who i am? And it's so difficult for me to feel attraction or chemistry or even a connection because i'm so anxious. How can i meet people, or where can i meet people who i won't be afraid of?

You'd probably meet people who you'd most likely date in school. When you go to school with someone you automatically have something in common and don't really need to search hard for an icebreaker, especially if you're in the same class. Also, try joining some extracurriculars or clubs or even youth groups outside of church.

Like ashdyn said clubs are good places or any other group where you will encounter people who are interested in the things you're interested in meaning they're similar people to yourself. Volunteer activities are good, too.
Online works for many people, but I've found it's good to carry on an online conversation with someone for a while before you set up a meeting, that way you feel like you know them.
Friends and family are a good resource. I've dated my older brother's girlfriend's cousin and my younger sister's bff's older sister.
