So I've been friends with this girl for about 1 year now. About 4 months ago we told each other that we liked each other but agreed just to stay friends. Since then we have text a lot but we don't talk much in person and when I see her we just kinda stay away from each other. Up until like 1 month ago I was pretty sure that she still liked me and I was ready to ask her out. But, she said that because we don't talk, a relationship would be very difficult and we fell out over that. We're fine now but I don't know if she likes me anymore and tbh I feel pretty bad and responsible for it. I've asked her best friend to ask her but she tells me to "ask her yourself". I just don't know how to find out but to ask her would be like really awkward and I kinda want to avoid that. Any ideas how I can find out (without asking her myself) ?

Hi! I would suggest what I would do if I were you. I would became friends with her! Looking at your profile it says that you are 13, thus I cannot know what do you want from this relationship. If you want her to become your girlfriend, so you can go on dates and so on (not short term relationship), then, at least for me, I don't think it's possible do date somebody unless you know this person. Flirt? yeah Have sex? totally. But not date. You've mentioned that you were chatting a lot online or on your phone, so try to do the same in real life, try to find her when she is not busy and start a conversation. By becoming friends with her, it would be waay easier for you to understand if she likes you or not =) Good luck!

Girls, especially around your age, are confusing af. Most of the time they don't even know what they want. Just try to get back to talking to her and see where that leads. If y'all get closer then put your feelings out there, if not then on to the next one dude.
