Why do guys think pointy nipples from cold = turned on?

I think you are missing the point here - guys (and girls of a certain persuasion) will find hard nipples sexually stimulating, regardless of causation. It is not that your nipples are hard from the cold which makes them think sexually, just the fact they are hard.

I suppose it would be the same as a boy waking up erect - the cause may be non-sexual, but the interpretation will be. You see?

I think it's the same with guys and erections, guys can have erections and not be turned on at all, just like girls can have hard nipples and not be turned on.

the nipples on a male can get erect for many reasons, a reaction to cold, excitement, nervousness, and some more. It doesnt always have to be related to sex and those that think that are a bit immature.

Thanks All for the feedback! Sweaters and coats are my good helpers in these situations. I also understand that even if not cold, some guys look down at boobs no matter what condition. I just feel more self conscious when it is cold and they look down.

I don't think it's because we think you're horny.. it's just we associate hard nipples with being turned on. It's the same way with a penis. Not every erection is sexual. Any guy can tell you that while writing notes during school, a stiffy will pop up fast for no reason (It's even worse when that happens and you're up next to go in front of the class). Erections are associated with sex, but just like the nipples, it isn't always the case.

Thankfully mine don't show (probably my choice of bra), but if you have really big nipples there is tape or padding as options. Although in cold weather I much prefer one of those HUGE blanket scarves to keep warm. Love those things!

They probably think too highly of themselves or are just joking. Either way, they probably associate hard nipples with something a little more sexual than the cold, seeing as during sex most women's nipples do turn hard, because of them being turned on and their partner probably touching them lol.
