I have been programming for a number of years now, in a range of languages - both for enjoyment and semi-professionally.
I would like to help other people get into programming; so I am offering my services to teach 3 people how to code in the language of their choice*.
This is completely free, with no obligations or strings attached. I am doing this because I want to help others and spread the joy of computational problem solving (oh god that sounds so cheesy and sad).
If you are interested, please private message me or reply below saying why you want my help, what language(s) you are interested in and what background you have, if any.
There are NO requirements.
* - Languages:
C++
Java
C#
JavaScript/HTML/CSS
PHP
ASP.NET
Python
Haskell

Have you any experience in Microsoft Small Basic?
You see, the thing is that I have my GCSE exams in June and part of our Computing course work requires us to write code (which has to be in latest early 2016). The problem is, I find it really hard to start because although I k ow what I want to do, I have no idea how to put it into code (until I finally understand it - in which case, I'll be on a roll!)
I can't be 'given' the answer either (although, what's the fun in that?) because we are only allowed to write up the code in class.
Basically, I'm just wondering (if you do have experience in SB) if you can help me figure out from English to code!

I have written an amount of VB.NET, the language that Small Basic derives from. I would be happy to learn it quickly and teach you anything you need to know. I guided someone else through the programming task for his GCSE last year, though he was using Python.
