I was talking to friends the other day and we got on the topic of underwear. He only wears American Eagle trunks and that's all he wears, I on the other hand wear a variety of brands and types like Calvin Klein, diesel, David archy, and adidas, ranging from boxer briefs to jockstraps. He said that wearing different types is weird so I was wondering if you guys have one type or if you wear a variety. I'm straight btw.

I wear Fruit of the Loom and very occasionally Gildan. I mostly wear briefs, though.

It depends on what I'm doing or what I'm wearing. I have different types and brands. Some of my jeans/pants are more comfortable with a specific pair of underwear. If I'm active I know that certain types of underwear are better. I know guys that only wear 1 type but I have lots of different types.

sexuality has nothing to do with it. it is normal for people to be loyal to one brand and one even design. it is also just as completely normal to go with different designs and different brands. both you and your friend are competently normal, but he is being an idiot for making a big deal about you using different brands

I'm not sure why that would be weird... I stick to one brand only because it's more simple, but you're free to do whatever you want.

Hanes boxer briefs mostly, but still have some regular briefs too, it doesn't really matter if people wear same kinds all the time or switch up like everybody else said

I wear off-brand underwear, mostly. It's comfortable enough and I buy more when I need more, getting the cheapest that fits first.

Really though, it's up to preference. Why not wear one brand, and why not wear n brands?

I wear either Jockey or Hanes briefs because they are comfortable for me. I don't think there's anything weird about wearing a variety of underwear. Your friend was probably just messing around.

well that's fine, I buy a lot of my own clothes, but they would never think twice about something like what type of underwear I am buying, esp if I did buy it with my own money

Hanes boxer briefs are pretty universal for me. They get the job done so that's what I roll with! But hey! Its up to your own self how many brands/types you wear. I suppose a little variety would be interesting..
