It varies quite a bit. Some people seem to get loads, other may not even see any. Though it is rare for there to be none produced at all, as the glands concerned are at the base of the penis, sometimes there may not be enough to make an appearance at the tip.

One thing that does seem to influence it is length of arousal, i.e. the longer you are aroused the more likely you are to see it, hence people commenting of getting a wet patch after spending ages making out whereas spending ten minutes wanking may not produce much.
