Ok, so, I want to ask this girl to my school's prom, but I'm not entirely sure how. I would like it to be somewhat creative.
Any ideas?

First, before I give you any advice,
How well do you know her?

Yeah, we need to know more about the situation before we can help you to the fullest.
But let me give you one top that will work in any situation: Be yourself!

I don't think this is necessarily the best time to be creative, because that would add another element to the question, right? And maybe she'll aprreciate it, but then again, maybe she won't. What you want is for her to say 'Yes!', and the best way of that occurring is for their to be desire there for her, and for the question to be as simple to answer as possible. Save the creativity for the corsage.
Try something very basic like, "I'd really like going to the prom with you, will you please join me?" Or, if you're an emotional/romantic sort, maybe, "I'd be honored if you'd go to the prom with me". But personally, I wouldn't be more Shakesperean than that.

I once watched a tv programme where the guy asked the girl to prom by driving past her while she was with all of her friends with a big sign asking her to prom (he was leaning out the sunroof holding the sign while one of his friends was driving). :D
And I saw another one where this guy had taped this massive sign across a bridge and then walked the girl under and when she looked back - surprise! :D
But to be honest, both times the girl was just waiting for the guy to ask, there was no question about whether she'd say no or not.
Maybe you could play some game with her and some friends, like sharades(where you play in partners), and instead of a film/book etc, act out the words will you go to prom! :D That would be so sweet...well, if she got it LOL!
However, Im from Scotland and have never been to a "Prom"...so what would I know! :lol3:
I hope she says yes either way! :D

Well, I've known her for over a year, and we had gone on a date a fw months ago, but nothing ever took off from it because I was extremely busy with other things in my life at the time.
We flirt alot, and she broke up with her now-ex boyfriend about 2 weeks ago.

Well when the time came for one of my school's dances I just asked the girl WHO she was going to the prom with (I made sure that I asked her the earliest). She looked kinda sad and told me that no one had asked her yet (but I could tell that my question had got her excited). So I said that's perfect! Since I had wanted to ask you for a really long time! Wanna go! :D
And that's all it took! :yeah:

Well, that might work, but she's homeschooled, so...might not work the way I want it too.
