My question is that why do guys say that masturbating is nasty and that they don't do it when everybody knows that they do masturbate? I also hate how they have the nerve to make fun of another guy that admitted that he jerks off. God forbid if I say "yea I jerk off so what" my home boys gonna be like "OMG dude that nasty and sad" Like please grow up!
It's been like that since 7th grade and I'm in 9th right now

Keep in mind that not everyone does masturbate, even though the large majority does..

I think it's a combination of teens just being immature teens because masturbation isn't "cool" and guys that admit to j/o get labeled as not being able to get a "real" girlfriend along with the negative stigma that has always been attached to masturbation. I think that's kinda slowly changing. You can always point out that masturbation is actually healthy and reduces the chances of prostate problems later in life.

Listen we all do it and those that say they dont just
want to show their friends that they dont need to.
If they make fun of someone- it is a sign of
bullying. I would make believe that anything
they say isn't bothering me and then forget it.

I totally agree. It is changing. If I want to talk about it, i have a few friends i can go to. The rest think its nasty.

I think it's cause it can seem embarassing to talk about this stuff to friends, I know people that like to keep it very private. I don't really understand the making fun of part, but at school some of my friends avoid the subject alltogether.

I notice that many guys talk about it and joke about watching porn and busting nuts but when someone or their friend seriously ask them if they masturbate or watch porn they like "Nah man I'm just f-ing around"
Also, yea I hate it so much when guys make fun of other dudes that masturbate and insult them calling them gay, faggot, have no life, can't get pussy, like dude grow up stop acting like a macho man like you get woman on your junk 24/7. We only 14 you only have your hands to use

Some guys have to b mean-they r there to make fun of someone.
If they call someone faggot or cant get pussy they r really putting
themselves down because they know they r the same but wont
admit it. When u r 14 and need to get off u go for it and don't b
concerned of what others say or call u. Guy and girl teens have
to learn to avoid others who put them down. Really getting off is
a personal thing and should only b talked bout between friends.

Masturbation is a great thug and there is nothing wrong with ut, but people look down on it due to bad teachings. It's also proven to be healthy and good for mental stability.

It is definitely a sign of immaturity.
How the attitude comes about I can't be completely sure. Partly it may be due to a negative view of sex in general - despite being surrounded by sexual messages young children also pick up on sex as being something to hide which presumably means it is in some way nasty or naughty. That general feeling could apply to masturbation. Also, for someone still pre-pubescent it would be difficult to understand the attraction. Finally there is the "big man" bravado that, one you have cottoned onto the idea of being sexual, you want people to think you are getting pussy three times a day and don't need to masturbate.
It's a load of nonsense, of course. Even guys who go on to have great sex lives may well end up still have more orgasm from masturbating than from anything else. As young guys one doesn't usually get sex as often as he feels the need to get off until he is able to move in with a partner. I have seen older guys report that their partners/wives want less sex once they have had children, are more horny at some times of the month than others, tend to be much less interested after menopause etc. Masturbation is the one sexual pleasure that will be with you all your life. Anyone who doesn't see the significance of that is a fool.

Guys and masculinity are fragile, so guys lie about masturbation

for some mancho teens they don't want other guys to think that they have to use there hand to get enjoyment it would be difficult to understand the attraction. so there is the "big man" bravado thing, where they wont you to think they are real men wanting you to think of them being sexual, and want people to think you are getting pussy three times a day and don't need to masturbate.

Ya it's kinda insane, their point is that guys who have to "resort to wacking off" do it because they aren't cool enough, or aren't hot enough, or just can't find a girlfriend who will have sex or give them bjs. However the guys that make that statement who don't have gfs are basically hypocrits and basically saying they can't get a gf AND don't need to jack off since idk maybe they have zero sex drive which if was true would be kinda lame of them right??? Bottom line is that of course that 98% of guys who say they don't jerk it actually do.

Guys at my school haven't really been denying whether they masturbate or not recently. Of course no one straight up asks if anyone does it but if it ever does pop up, it's not hidden. It's something we all do

You have to remember that some people are just insecure about the fact that they jerk off and will say anything that they hear around school just to feel like nobody can judge them if they never say that they do it

Nobody wants to admit they are jerking off for a fear that someone might find out WHAT they might be jerking off to. There are some people who DONT jerk off, but the mass majority do, but they dont want to admit it because there is like a sense of embarrassment and shame that they feel goes along with it. And yeah, I would agree, too that its a maturity thing.

Some of my friends openly admit they do and actually share info on it and some say that they don't and try to make me feel guilty about it and say it's gross and they'd never do it... I don't understand if people are okay with it and it's normal or if it's weird and only a few people do it.

That's the opposite in my school actually. You'd be considered a coward if you don't admit to it, unless you look extremely religious. Like if you wear a turban or Yamaka it never comes up in convorsation.

It is rather sad that guys deny it when they can easily join all of the male boy population in admitting something thats not a crime or offence of any sort. Just natural part of growing to adulthood - besides being fantastically enjoyable especially initially.

could be for some guys that they're taught it's not a good thing to do. i know a guy at school that if the subject comes up he leaves, no big deal
