Next Steps?

So I am a gay sophomore in high school and there's this gay senior that I have had a major crush on for awhile. We talk daily, and I've actually been nervous that I have been messaging him too much, but he told me that he just never texts first and that I don't bother him (which relieved me so much), but now I don't know how to continue because this is my first real relationship being out to myself, so I don't know what to do... Help?

There's not really much else to do except enjoy the ride. Try taking it to the next level by hanging out in person or one-on-one more. Don't feel pressured to rush into anything. Just let everything develop naturally and you'll know when to step things up. Obvi the goal is to make it official tho. Good luck!
