Suddenly over the weekend two friends suddenly unfollowed me on instagram. I don't understand the reason because there was no problem with these friends. Does that mean we're not friends anymore or something? Should I ask them if we're still friends?

You should ask them, or casually talk to them to see if something changed...?

I know them in person like the unfollow was so sudden I'm worried if they sudden don't like me anymore. I am thinking of asking them if we're still friends.

Nothing happened to cause them to unfollow me I feel so down. Like how should I confront them?

Or they just don't feel like following? I know there seems to be some huge expectation to follow all your friends on social media these days but I unfollow people who don't post stuff I'm interested in, doesn't mean we're not friends.
Honestly, this all sounds like a pretty big overreaction. If you're that worried, just ask.

Did they unfollow you on the same day? You should ask them why and ask them what you did wrong.

Okay because if they unfollowed you at the exact same time then its possible for them to have contacted each other or something and say "hey lets unfollow _____(your name)__________" unless they don't know each other but I don't know about that

the only way you are going to find out anything is to just bite the bullet and ask them what the deal is. you can try to guess all day, but the only way to actually know is to ask them.

You could just ignore it and focus on other things. That's what I'd do. It honestly doesn't matter. Also, if their way of telling you something is wrong is to unfollow you on some social media site...well... Maybe find others? :/

I would just ask them , it might not be such a big deal. Let us know the outcome.

I'm reading this like "why is this such a big deal" but then again from personal experience I have thought to myself "this is a big deal."
Just ask, "why'd you unfollow me." It's simple.
