Lotion.

You may need to find the type that works for you, but lotion right away to help keep the bumps down.

In the future I might suggest trimming instead of shaving. That is what works best for me. Shaved once or twice but I am not a huge fan of it.

After shave might hurt like the dickens if it has alcohol in it. Baby lotion might be better.

DO NOT PUT LOTION ON CUTS THAT ARE BLEEDING. lotion is for EXTERNAL use only.

if you have red and irritated skin, that's totally normal; it's called razor burn. i'll share something i saw on the internet and saved because it's super useful

"Exfoliate thoroughly, use a SHARP men's razor (new, couple uses, don't use dull ones you left in the shower. The blades rust) and I use baby oil as shaving cream, seriously just lather that shit on there. Shave. Rinse. After, put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and go over your newly shaved bits. Shave every couple days, your parts will start to get used to it, and it will be smooth sailing from there. "

it's a pretty big pain in the ass, buy you will never have razor burn again if you follow these steps

P.S.: if you shave 'against the grain' (from bottom towards ur belly button) you're more likely to get razor burn

That happened to me when I first shaved and it was just a lot of work for me so I've been trimming since then. It's definitely way easier. Some of the tips mentioned above help with the problems you are having

Ok for the first time I shaved my pubes and now it is very itchy and I have a few tiny cuts and it's red, what should i do?😮
try any one of this - this will not affect your skin :

Ice: Apply it right away to the cut or nick and it will help stop the bleeding. The cold shrinks the blood vessels and encourage clotting.
Lip balm: Lip balms that contain any type of wax, including bee’s wax, will help stop the bleeding and help the blood clot, and will also help seal the cut to protect it from contamination.
Tea bag: Use a cooled tea bag to stop the bleeding and protect from skin damage with helpful antioxidants.
Vitamin E: Apply to reduce the appearance of scars. Apply several times a day if you can.
Moisturizing lotion: The right moisturizing lotion can also help reduce the risk of scarring. Try our Coconut Body Oil, which also helps kill any remaining bacteria. For old scars, try our Repair Serum to fade them away!
Aspirin paste: Dissolve a tablet in a glass of water, then use a cotton ball or Q-tip to apply the solution to the cut. Aspirin will help soothe the pain and encourage healing.

I use a 3 -4 blade razor and I also use gel not foam and when finished I put some baby powder on the area. I never had any problems with razor burn etc. Hope this helps.

Sometimes I do spot shave (or pluck) any stray hairs but trimming is definitely the way to go
