View Full Version : Rarely starting the conversation because you feel as though I'm bothering them?

I have this good friend. We don't really see eachother that much but we talk a fair bit on facebook. However, when we haven't spoken for a week/2 weeks or so I always feel like I'm bothering her by messaging her, even if she says stuff like "catch up soon". Therefore I wait for her to start the conversations a lot of the time. How do I overcome this?

Thanks in advance :)

Does she ever start the conversation?

God, I feel this so hard.

Have you ever talked to her about this? Maybe just say that you're nervous she's too busy or that she might want space? Ask her how she feels and let her know how you feel. Keep it light, keep it casual, and nothing bad should come of it.

She starts the conversation sometimes, so I think she does want to talk but whenever I start the conversation she doesn't seem to be as interested which is why I'm reluctant to start one.

I'll bring it up the next time I talk to her, thanks :)
