Urm, I don't really listen to underground bands but a couple that are a little more unknown:
The Defiled
Ashes Remain
The One Hundred
I Prevail
Battlecross

I know them from listening to a radio station called Triple J. They tend to play less mainstream music and try to focus on uncovering lesser known bands. I think you're right about Royal Blood though.

Sounds cool! I know them because they were a supporting act at a concert I was thinking of going to. Now they are one of my favorite bands and they've actually grown quite a lot in the time I've known them.

Some people won't agree, but Twenty One Pilots. They're one of the most popular bands that don't have any advertisements or anything yet they still have sold out shows.

I loved Silversun Pickups a while ago but I have seen them on the radio recently so I am not sure how "underrated" they are.
