I have a friend who comes from a really conservative home. Her parents know me and like me a lot. My friend has been hooking up with her boyfriend but telling her parents she's hanging out with me. I've had to lie a few times to her parents but don't feel good doing it. I don't want to tell on my friend but I don't want to be used as part of a lie either. What should I do?

If she's a true friend, she'll understand your feeling and come up with another solution for herself. If she gets really angry with you, that tells you a lot about her character and how she feels about you.

Well, if it makes you feel bad, then don't do it. Talk to your friend and ask her to come up with another story to tell her parents.

Good luck :)

If she is truly your friend, then she wouldnt put you in that predicament in the first place, but since she has, then she should be understanding when you tell her as her friend you no longer feel comfortable being her cover story because you dont want to jeopardize your relationship with her parents if she ever gets found out.
