I hate it. I don't have anyone there that is serious about a certain amount of things related to puberty. I'm in 7th grade now and it's a pain in the ass, a living hell. Everyone is childish, immature, and everytime they hear the word "sex" they flip out and laugh.
Someone please help me out..

Heh, 7th grade was the year when everyone became a pervert. Masturbation and "yo mama" jokes were the main topic for the whole year. It doesn't get better in 9th grade either. :)
Trust me, I know how you feel. I always felt like the weird kid who didn't fit in with the rest of the guys (and I was made fun of for it) but I never cared. I was one of the few who didn't burst out laughing whenever someone merely mentioned sex. Instead I shaked my head and went on with my day, silently mocking and pitying my stupid fellow 12 year olds. Wanna know how bad it got? Here you go: people would literally start moaning out loud in the middle of the class. I was absolutely horrified and disgusted.
But it was still the best school year in my entire life. I still get sad when I think about it, and how much things have changed since then (and for the worse). At times I wish I could go back in time just for a day because I miss it so much. :)

Bro, you're not alone , I'm in Grade 9, and none of this idiots have grown the fuck up. They're childish, immature. That's the thing of being in a clever class, everyone is immature, but teachers do nothing about them. But when me and my friends crack jokes we get punished. The other children are being favoured . Another reason why I hate my class.
Oh, there's no hot girls in my class either, that's another reason why I hate my class.

Haha I'm sorry. Many people your age are not ready for "the talk" yet, and so it is a joke to them. Give them a few years. Hell, I'm in college and people are still giggling idiots about sex talks. You just have to find the right people and approach them the right way and you'll make friends.

Really? That's sounds weird to me. I'm in what I think is 7th/8th/9th grade and these kind of things are already considered lame and immature.

Maybe you're just too devloped; maybe in a year the people around you will be more mature. After all you're still young, you could just be an early bloomer (atleats mentaly).
It takes time for people to grow up.

maybe concentrate on something positive in the class. may have to search, but if you do that you will be less upset. windows are always nice to look out of!

For our class, laughing out loud when hearing the word or any reference to sex is so like last year. This year they've "matured" and the guys are openly talking about masturbation and getting caught. However I still believe they're immature because of many reasons.
I've been cracking perverted jokes to my best friend as well; must be bad influence.
Let's hope it gets better.

What would you like about this? Class changed?

Yep, that sounds right. It depends on the group, though. A certain segment of the population will never grow up.
It does seem the subject of sex sets off a reaction in people who are otherwise rational. It is hard for me to get used to since my mom's attitude is extremely practical. Honestly, nothing embarrasses that woman. I go to school, though, and anything sexual everybody tenses up.

It's just part of growing up. Expect such behavior to continue for a few more years.

Try being the only female in a class of males at college. It was hell~ However it's an important topic, and you'll have to bite your tongue and ignore them.As the above poster said; it's all part of growing up and it'll continue.Ours was obviously on sexual health (sti's and stuff) rather than the whole sex ed thing.Sr management requires us to do that as it's college x'D You'd be surprised at the amount of males in my class who think an appropriate excuse for not using condoms is "they don't feel nice".
Some people will never grow up! hell I swear the guys in my class are still 10-years-old.You seem to have more of a head on your shoulders.Just sit and take what you can from the class.
Good luck :)

Brah! I don't know what to tell ya, but 8th. grade is more of the same. Ya just gotta float with the soap!
I'm sure that there are some dudes in your class that are more in tune with you. Find them and make friends with them.
