To watch a livestream on mobile data alone will drain you to like a third of 2GBs after about a half hour of medium quality streaming. So using a tether on something that is running a lot of background tasks which require internet, will kill your month very quickly. If you had unlimited, you'd be throttled pretty damn fast too.
