Trimming is probably the most common one here and you basically just get some scissors and cut it short or style however you like theres no real secret o it how ever you can buy electric trimmers which work best and they get the trim nice and even also a lot faster so id recommend getting one of those.
Shaving is what i do, you must trim first before you shave otherwise you will just dull and clogg the blade but just put shaving cream on your pubes (i do it in the shower for easy clean up) and treat it as if shaving your face make sure to shave with the grain as in the direction of growth. It will itch the first one or two times you do it after but your body gets used to it and it should be fine. You wont have to trim and it will become easier the ore regularly you do it like once a week or every two weeks.
Shaving IMO is more aesthetically pleasing but you do what ever you like because its totally up to you.

Hey, you don't have to be embarressed . I just trimmed once and never again lol .
Oh, don't try to shave it off , things won't end well . Just take a scissor and start cutting away , it gets easier the more you do it and you'll be able to determine how long you want the pubes to be with ease.

Take your time when going about trimming or shaving to prevent cutting yourself, ingrown hairs, etc. I personally just trim to keep everything looking nice. I've shaved once before but I didn't like the way it looked and it was a lot of work to do right

If I were you, start with an electric razor, be careful and try to get it short, then you can shave of what's left with a normal razor

Shaving is too much work. Trimming is easy. I use an electric trimmer so it comes out even. I used scissors at first but it always ended up looking raggedy. The electric trimmer I bought from CVS is fast and effective.

I did not shave for the first time until I was 13. You are a tad late, but it is normal. Only girls seem to be the ones that shave more than once a month. Nobody is forcing you to shave. I prefer to trim at least once a year. My lady friend told me to use shears when we were about 15

I would not be embarrassed because guys get hair at different times.
If you are referring to how to shave your face, then, personally, I would ask for help from someone who is older like your father, older brother, male cousin, etc. because it is kind of hard to explain how to do so. I suppose you can watch some YouTube videos on how to shave, but when it comes to your face the safest way is to have someone around to help you your first time.
If you are talking about removing your pubes or trimming down there, then you have a couple of options:
1. Use scissors that others have described. Just make sure you are not using household scissors that others around the house use because that would be gross. I would try to use the scissors that barbers use, and you can find them at most beauty supply stores or the beauty section of most retailers
2. Get a beard trimmer and use that to trim your pubes
3. Get a body hair groomer and use that to either trim or remove your pubes
4. Use a manual razor down there if you know how to use one.
If you have an older siblings, including a female one, then asking them for help would not be a bad idea. Girls in particular would have great suggestions since they as a group shave their legs and their pubes.
