Hi, I was wondering how people ask someone to start dating.
Even though, in most cases it's obvious, sometimes it really not.
eg: You have an old good friend and you ask him to watch a movie together
How do I give signs that it's not only about movie?
PS: I don't want to touch him or anything before he agrees to relationship, I'm pretty strict about that...

It's really hard to help you ask someone else cause no one really knows the nature of your relationship better than you. Like do you guys have natural flowing conversation in person or is it more texting? How long have you known eachother? Are y'all good friends? Do you guys usually hang out 1-on-1 or more in group settings?

Like you said...asking to watch a movie might not give off the vibe you want if you've been friends for a while. He might just think you want to hang out. It all depends on how your relationship is already.

It should be something personally but if I was in your situation I would probably go with something like this.
'Hey I've been thinking about a lot of things lately... You don't have to answer right away or anything but I was wondering if you wanted to start going out/go out on a date/whatever/etc.'
If yes maybe hug or kiss or something. Not sure about the individuals and their personalities/history so that is really all I can help you with. Make sure to give it your all and have your feelings up front to show how serious you are! I believe in you ^_^

Well first off you have to know if he's into guys first.

Then you can make your moves, by just asking.

Well it is not common to just ask someone to be my girlfriend or be my boyfriend. You just ask someone to hang out and eventually go on a few dates. It becomes official when one person kisses the other.
