Does anorexia damage your sweat glands?

My friend told me that anorexia damages your sweat glands - is this true?

Well I think it might have an affect on them since it has an affect on most of your body....

Well sweat is water, so as long as your drinking it shouldn't really effect the glands. Unless a part of your nerve system shuts down.

all i know is a lack of food will make your whole body slowly die!!

I'm not quite sure, but if I had to make an educated guess I'd say yes. Eventually, your body will just start shutting down.

it damages everything because ur body literally starts eating itself to survive
Muscle disappears
bones become very brittle
In severe cases organs will shut down
You'll always be cold because u will lack any insulation capable of storing body heat

im not sure if it does but it hurts your body from i think malnutrition ( dunno how to spell).
