Manbuns?

Anyone else here a fan of the manbun? Optionally with a beard. As you can see in my profile picture I'm sporting a nice manbun with a decent beard. I think it's an underrated style, and it also takes away the worry of haircuts (Yea, in this pic the bun is way to the side so I don't have to do a 180 with my neck to make it visible

It's not really my style, but it's pretty practical for people with longer hair. Beards also really compliment them imo.

I don't know if its just the UK but manbuns are kind of taken the piss out of here. I mean on some guys it actually looks pretty decent and they can pull it off great, you seem to be included in that from the picture. But its definitely become overrated here and every guy seems to be attempting to grow their hair long enough and its kind of getting out of hand (I mean, someone's created a fucking clip on manbun, if that doesn't say 'out of hand' I don't know what does).

It is a very hit or miss hairstyle, it'll look good or it just won't, I think you suit it well however ^_^

I really don't like the style, honestly. I think it looks somewhat decent when the guy has really long hair but if it's just long enough to put it into the bun then it looks ridiculous. Some dude in my old school had one and he got constantly ridiculed for it, he won "best hairstyle" at the leavers awards and everyone laughed.

It's like any other hairstyle: suits some, doesn't suit others. Looks great on the OP imo. I mean hey, if you have long hair, it's convenient. I wear my hair in a bun all the time, I don't see why it should be ridiculed on guys. Yeah, it's currently "trendy" but I think part of that comes with the fact that a lot of men are now feeling it's okay to have long hair and don't feel as if they'll be judged as much now that it's become a thing.

My hair is long enough, but I wear it down all of the time. The only time I really wear it in a bun is when I'm home and don't want to deal with it, or if I have crazy bed head and my hair is all in my face. (Like right now! :P)
