Girls, how do you let a guy know you like him?

I am really struggling to find out whether or not a girl I have a crush on likes me back. We do make small talk and when we are alone we get along really well. I like making her smile and laugh. She always smiles and waves Hi when we see each other at work. I admit we do not know each other well enough to say we are friends, but I hope I can get there soon.

Are there any signs I should look for the next time I see her? How can I tell if she likes me the way I like her? Should I start spending even more time with her? What should I do? How would a girl show that she likes me?:wub:
