I'm 14 and I'm starting to get a snail trail/happy trail, all my friends don't have one and I'm scared that they will judge me what should I do? Also what age did you guys start getting a snail trail/happy trail?

Don't be afraid it shows your becoming a man and that you have something to show off and there gonna think wow he must have a lot of hair and in the end some girls like guys with the trail and I didn't start to get my trail until last year and honestly nobody really pays attention to it so that's another thing nobody will judge you because they aren't just staring at you or checking you out

I got mine around 14 as well and it has never caused me any problems with friends. I think I've only shaved it off once, it's nothing to be self conscious about

I agree with the others, and no one will say anything about your snail trail. It is a sign of growing up, and if anyone says anything negative about it, then they are just stupid because nearly all guys get one at some point. You are just developing faster than the others which is fine, and at least you are ahead of the game. Don't be concerned, and I would be confident because you're normal and fine just the way you are.

I probably started getting mine around the same age, but it didn't start to get too noticeable until I was like 17 maybe. I started trimming it to make it less noticeable, but that's just me. You can maybe do the same if you're not comfortable with having one yet, but I'm sure all the other guys will start getting one eventually too. It's just part of getting older I guess lol

I'm jealous...I'd love to have one...Instead puberty gave me a small roll of fat on my lower belly covering my previously tiny waist....NOw I got to keep a top on all the time.

I started getting mine around 15 or 16. I was also the only one of my friends who had a happy trail.

If your friends do judge you over body hair then they are completely idiotic. It is a completely unnecessary thing to judge over and it shouldn't (and probably won't) change their opinion of you in the slightest.

I got mine when I was like 15 or 16. It's not something to be made fun of for, a lot of girls/guys like it tbh.

I agree with DatPancake just above, it would be stupid to make fun of you for it, they're completely normal, I got mine around 14, and some people do like them

I shaved mine off (as if it was even noticeable in the first place).

I'd keep it if I was in your position - I never totally shaved off any hair that I could show off in the changing rooms ;)

Same age and I'm starting to get one too! There's a few people in my year with one and no one's said anything to them so I doubt they'll judge you.

You shouldn't worry about others judging you. Most guys get hair in different places at different times, it's just how puberty works for you. I started getting one late last year.

Leave it alone. It just means your ahead in puberty in a way. I'm 16 and just started getting one about 5 months ago

I started to get one quite late - around 17 only just over a year ago. Personally I shave it because I like my belly to be smooth but its whatever you like as an individual :)

The only people who will judge you are people who are probably jealous.. I know it seems weird but if you have one and they don't, they may feel jealous/embarrassed.
