I have a problem. My English teacher is real strict and kinda mean. On Friday, he was slightly late getting to our classroom so we were waiting outside the door for him to show up. I was right in front of the door and was facing it. I was just joking with the other kids and said, Oh wouldn't it be great if somebody came from the office and said," I'm very sorry but Mr. XXXXX has died". I wasn't serious. Just as I said it, an arm came over my shoulder and unlocked the door. Guess who it was? So he just stared at me for like 15 seconds and didn't say anything then or after class. I know he heard me. What's do you think is gonna happen? :what:

I've had teachers who straight out bullied me in class and I wouldn't ever joke around about them dying. Regardless of what happens, I think you at least owe him an apology for that.

You should probably just apologize if its a guilty conscience issue or if you feel he might bear a grudge. Honestly i think he just let it slide and took it coolly. Like people do that sort of thing a lot. I've had this experience too and the teacher probably wasn't bothered

There are teachers I've publicly mocked (dick move, yes, but I didn't give a fuck back then). I don't think any of them cared, as they've probably gotten used to it after all these years of teaching.

I would apologize to him. I mean, if you think he is grading you unfairly down the road because of what you said, you could technically report him as well.just apologize, say your sorry and you know you should not have said it. he might be a jerk, but that is still something you should not say to someone

Apologise or he will take revenge in his own way. Your grades will fall and he will constantly pick on you.

Yeah.. Apologize at the very least. You can't really change what you did, but just make it through the next few days/weeks. At my school, kids can be expelled and/or reported to police for that kind of stuff as it's technically a death threat (even though we both know it's not). There's a time and a place for everything, and I think the real thing you can learn from it is that it's probably unwise to say stuff like that at all at school. There are prying ears everywhere whether you know it or not

I doubt anyone is that much of a twat to have someone expelled for that. I wish he was dead is also technically not a death threat. I wish I could kill him would be though.

No. It has been done at my school because our administration has sticks rather far up their butts
