When I was a little kid, my dad introduced me to a band called The Hooters. He discovered them when they were hitting it big in the 80's. They're a strange mixture of rock, reggae, new wave, and folk. They sound really unique, especially for their time. They have great, catchy songs, and I have no idea why they aren't way more popular. I haven't found anybody else who's heard of them. Have any of you?
Some of my favorite songs by them are:
All You Zombies
Day by Day
Satellite
Johnny B.
Engine 999
Don't Knock it Till you Try it
500 Miles
And there's a bunch more that I could put here, but these would have to be my favorites. If you haven't heard them, check them out. You might recognize a song or two, but I doubt it. But yeah, has anybody else here heard of them besides me?
