View Full Version : Do you feel comfortable being shirtless?

NotQuiteANerd97
October 31st, 2015, 04:39 PM
I've always been kinda skinny but I also go to the gym and run, so I have some definition in my abs and chest. My arms are kinda thin but they've been getting more muscle lately. I'm really confident with my shirt off. I can easily take it off at the beach or when running and feel good about it. Most people don't mind.

Also, do you hang out with your friends shirtless at times?

I am overweight with chest hair and all that stuff so I am not very comfortable being shirtless. If I go to the beach or swimming I'll obviously take it off, but if I'm inside with friends or playing sports I won't...

No cos I got like bacne and stuff but once it's off I'm fine

I am not comfortable being shirtless because I was overweight as a child. I am super skinny now, but being shirtless is still a fear of mine. My friends sometimes like to be shirtless when we hang out, but those are the friends I jerk off with so we have seen more than we ought to with other friends of ours. I only take my shirt off for my girlfriends.

I am perfectly comfortable with being shirtless. I got shirtless pics on my profile. I will go outside all the time summer w/o a shirt. I may not be the hottest person in the world, but I am very happy with my body so yea, I am totally comfortable being shirtless. I will hang out shirtless with friends but it depends. it is not like I just take my shirt off because friends are over, but depending on the situation, I am totally fine hanging with them shirtless

Yes, totally comfortable...I'm skinny yet have abs and also muscles on my arms cuz I do a lot of sports. And to be honest I totally love my skin tone...lol and I don't get confused with a girl like it often happens to me.

My friends and I are sometimes shirtless together when we hang out playing basketball and shit and it's hot...it's normal.

Used to hang around shirtless when I was skinny...Now I've got a little belly fat and small perky mboobs on my flat chest...I wont take my top off now...I'm still BMI 22 and still look skinny....but with my top off I attract some glances and my friends will poke my tum, joke etc....
I dont run or go to gym.

When we get into water I'd take my pants & tee off but keep my briefs and tank top on..

Over the past couple of years I have really gotten in shape and am now totally confident shirtless - at the beach, running, etc. I'd only really be around friends shirtless if we're sleeping somewhere together or changing

me and my friends go without a shirt a lot, at home and on the beach

No. I look like I starve myself every night (when I actually eat more than the average person!)

Being shirtless doesn't bother me, anywhere, or with anyone. Hanging out with friends, around family, whatever, or just even in public.

I'm slim, pretty much hairless. Not that that would change my attitude.

I don't feel uncomfortable by going shirtless every now and then. Just about all my friends go shirtless too.

CuteGuy889
November 1st, 2015, 09:37 PM
Its just that I don't want my frnds/relations who've known me to be skinny see me sporting tummy fat and ugly mboobs...I still look skinny in a tight undershirt and a loose tee....They'll comment and I'm very sensitive re weight..

Whn I went to a beach in another state with my GF I used to be always shritless on the beach....Food was lovely and I couldn't help stuffing myself but I'd just hang in the beach with a totally ugly belly without a care in the world cos only my GF would know me..

Not really. Maybe in some situations with close friends, but the situation hasn't really come up for it.

Being shirtless is one of the things summer is for. I almost never wear a shirt in the summer when it's hot, inside or outside, unless I obviously have to. Try it. It's really much more comfortable. And if I have to wear a shirt, I've got some sleeveless shirts cut down the sides to the waist that are great.

I'm totally comfortable with it. Though, I work pretty hard on how I look, so maybe it's a confidence thing?

I'm not because of my armpit hair and happy trail. I also have massive stretch marks on my back.

Wish I could be tho cause my friends are, well some of them

I have a bit of man-b**bs but I'm not uncomfortable in front of my friends. We've changed in front of each other and no one has a perfect body, in fact, they're in pretty bad shape.

It's hard for me to keep a shirt on!!!! I'm thin but I have definition. I run, swim, play sports.

My over arching problem as to why I avoid taking my shirt off is because when I was in primary school is was bullied for being fat and to be fair, I was quite fat. However, now I am much taller and quite muscular but because of my previous bullying, I can't bring myself to do it. So in short, I don't really care about what I look like, I just don't want to be judged I guess. :)

I am never shirtless unless I am by myself. Not even around friends or family. I'm not necessarily uncomfortable with my body but I just feel weird without my clothes on.

I love taking my shirt off! Its part of being a man, and what we get to enjoy as men. Of course theres a time and place for it, but when the opportunity arises (like swimming or washing the car for instance) I'll the the opportunity!

Yep, comfortable with my shirt off probably due to me growing up in a tropical country where everyone is just shirtless due to the heat.

I'm really not comfortable being shirtless, yeah, I'll get changed and I can leave my top off for about 30s, but I have some scars, and spots, and not the most defined body. I've never hung out with friends shirtless. I'm just not confident with my body :/

I'm comfortable with my body-I have no probs
being shirtless but only around the house or beach
or when I'm going quading in the woods-I just don't
shirtless to go shirtless for any reason.

No I don't really feel comfortable being shirtless. I'm not overweight but I'm also pretty scrawny, I guess. I eat like normal but just have a hard time gaining weight I guess so I'm pretty small. I'll wear no shirt at home and stuff but around people that aren't family I guess I feel too self conscious.

I have no problems with being shirtless. Usually at home I do not wear abnything above my waist. Also I like to do some sports with my teammates shirtless. It is not uncommon to go in the summer to my colleages living nearby bare chested. I also go a lot of to gym, have nice sixpack. I like to expose my pierced nipples, as my other mates do.

Nope, I hate it. I'm only shirtless when I'm sleeping and thats only sometimes. At the pool or at beaches I ALWAYS have a swim top on. Idk why though, I mean I do ALL the water sports. Sailing, surfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing etc. (I hate swimming lessons though) I'm skinny but I am athletic, but for some stupid reason I HATE being shirtless, changing or just plain doing anything without a shirt on.
