ask her a question about class? even if you got to make it up (though make it a realistic question). or wait till she posts something and have a convo with her about it

It is good that your friend wants to set up a double date. It would work out in your favor to be paired with your crush. You can get to know her better. Try talking to her more whenever you see her.

OK, so there's a girl in my math class who I've know for about 2 year but we hardly talk (we have mutual friends so we've done group things with each other but we didn't really have a proper conversation). A few weeks ago she got to school just as I got there and we were the only ones sitting were our groups sit so we talked until everyone else came. She laughed at all my jokes and she even sat next to me in math that morning. Her and my friends since had a fight so she doesn't really hang around with us anymore. I really like her and want to talk more with her and I THINK (and really hope) she likes me. What should I do? I thought about messaging her on Facebook but since we don't really talk, I think a simple "hey" out of nowhere would be awkward. My friend who knows I like her is trying to date my crushs friend and said that we should just go see a movie with both of them but I feel she might think its a date and it might get awkward (I want it to be a date but it might be too soon). Please help.
I would just get to know her better first. Also, I'd ask for her number after a little while. I know that it's kind of scary to do so, but why not? She'll probably say yes!
