ok, so I friended a girl on Facebook who I noticed went to my high school and was a year older than me that i honestly don't know at all, and only saw in the hallways. I thought she was pretty so i sent her a request and she friended me back. Later that day she liked my profile picture out of nowhere.

Do you think that is a possibility she might like me and would it be a good idea to message her and casually talk on there? I don't normally message girls on Facebook so what do you guys think?

eh why not? I would keep it casual at first, but why not? Facebook is meant to be able to talk to people and get connected with others. who knows where it might lead. go for it man

Sure. The fact that she did not block you right away and added you says she is at least interested in being friends. So just message her and say hey did we have any classes together? or did you have that teacher too? or So are you ready for the new Star Wars movie?

I mean just because she liked your picture I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that she likes you. I don't see what the harm in a friendly conversation is though, so yeah message her, see if a friendship can be built and go from there.

regardless of if she likes you or not, i think you should message her and start talking. she may end up liking you even if she doesn't right now because of the conversations you and she have :)
