So, there is this girl I like, me and her have been friends for 5 years, and today I was going to tell her that I like her. But, right before I did, my sister confessed that she liked the girl's brother, and now it is a little awkward between me and the girl, should I still confess, or back off for a few days?

Fuck the friend zone. The only person that can put you into the friend zone is you. I get it tho, the timing is weird. Way to go sister just had to F it up lol I'd wait it out just a little until the situation kind of mellows out so the girl you like won't have her judgement affected by a completely separate issue. But don't wait too long like don't let your sister start dating her brother before you do it lol tell her thirsty ass to slow down
