Would it be wrong to jerk off in the morning right before you go to church? I just feel like it would be inappropriate, what do you think?

Personally, I don't think I'd be able to do it. I already feel guilty doing it regardless, but before Church? I wouldn't be able to look at myself ever again. Again, that is just me and my morals.

It's not inappropriate in any way. Some people may find it morally inappropriate but masturbation is a natural thing.

I don't think it would make any real different to me. Besides Saturday and Sunday mornings are the best times to jerk off in the mornings since I don't have to get up early to get ready for school. I can stay in bed longer and don't have to jerk off really fast like on school mornings.

I would be embarrassed in the church if I thought I had masturbated one hour before :P

You shouldnt do that it seems alright and healthy and it might help you release some stress in your life but then you get caught up, its the only thing you think off and it interfere with your life. Jerking off is alright tho you can do it anytime you want there is nothing wrong with it, well until the priest ask you to do it with him.

Lol not much but I had church today and I didn't know if I should jerk off or not and wondered what other people's thoughts were.

Well, if you believe in God, and if you are worried about him knowing... then I think he already knows. And what's the difference before or after? I mean yeah, not during church probably... but before is the same as after isn't it? Especially since God already knows you do it anyway?

I go to church every Sunday, just about. Ask Jaffe . And I masturbate every morning when I wake up. Going to church after really makes no difference to me. But if it bothers you maybe you shouldn't.
But also like Jaffe said, regardless or not before or after, your God will know anyways, so unles you think it's a sin or something....
I look at it as God gave me my hads to use, and my dick to use also. So why can't I use one body part to use the other body part of I choose to?

I don't see it as a problem...but I couldn't bring myself to it personally.

For a simple question this is actually quite profound.
The obvious answer would be that timing doesn't make any difference. Either you think doing it is a sin in which case it is still a sin whenever you do it, not just before church or you believe it is not a sin in which case there is no harm in doing it even right before church.
But then you could factor in the who "man can't help but sin but that's OK because Jesus died for our sins and if we repent he forgives us" line. Some people seem to interpret that to mean it is ok to go the week without worrying about sinning as long as you repent on Sunday. That is what would give rise to the idea that your behaviour on Sunday, certainly around the time you go to church, would have to be different. That does seem to me to be a strange way to go ahead. What is the point of some things being sins and others not if it doesn't make a difference to your behaviour most of the time?
I interpret the usually quoted verses to mean it is not a sin.

I usually jerk off before going to church because that is the only day i have time in the morning because in the weekdays I have to rush for school. For me I find it embarrassing but jerking off is normal.

It's probably a matter of belief due to which people keep on relating sex or related stuff with religion in any manner but I feel it's wrong. Jerking off is completely normal. That's a part of how you understand your body better as you grow up. I can't understand why anyone, let alone God, would have a problem with it(as long as you do it in a balanced way and don't let it hinder your daily routine, studies, etc).

I dont see any problem with you doing it, it really should have no affect on your worship. Say you do do it and you goto church and feel a little guilty about it, you could always ask for forgiveness in your prayers during services. But all in all, just go for it, I dont see any problems before or after. the results will always be the same.

If you already do it at other times it shouldn't really make much of a difference whether you do it just before church or a day before.

I have actually jacked off in church. I get bored sitting there so just discretely rub and shoot in my pants.

there is a lot which can go into this. I understand how it can feel weird, but at the same time, if it is wrong to do it before church, it is wrong to do it whenever. hey I do it (and I obviously have sex and not married which is also a sin). I understand where you are coming from though

I guess it depends on how devout you are - if you feel like it's necessary then I would say go for it, but do consider the guilt you may feel afterwards.. But hey, jerking before Jesus I guess :D

If you're worried about God thinking that it's inappropriate, I wouldn't worry. If he does exist he has better things to be doing than counting the sins of insignificant people.
