Its the same for me. I think the water causes less friction from your hand, so it doesnt feel as good and therefor it takes longer.

Yes, I find it takes longer in the shower or, probably more accurately, it seems harder work in the shower as I can take a long time in bed (stop & go) but it seems more relaxed in bed and easier to the point where I am ready to cum when I want to.

it only takes longer in the shower because all of your life since puberty you've been used to doing it on your bed. If you been more used to doing it in the shower verses on your bed then it will be like clockwork in the shower too. Water and friction really have no bearing on it.

I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's the same problem that i have with using lube to masturbate: there's nothing to grip on to so it doesn't feel good, seeing as the water may as well be lube of some kind.
