Cool subjects here...
Alright well, I am only 13 years old but my parents have had this discussion with me and my younger brother a few times already. Both of my parents are lawyers. My dad is a corporate real estate lawyer for a big company out of Houston, even tho we don't live in Houston. And my mom owns her own law firm that specializes in estate planning or whatever. My dad is in Asia on business A LOT and in the summertimes my mom, me and my brother go meet him, usually in either Hong Kong or Japan, spend a week, then all of us come back home together. Summer has been like that for me ever since I can remember.
Anyway, of course they want me and my brother to become lawyers also. But living with two lawyers I have heard the problems and even sometimes bitching about the things that lawyers go through, so I am not sure that's for me.
I have already been lookng at other professions and I found that several schools here in Texas have International Business degrees. And even my parents agree that that kind of degree might be a good degree to get.
So but anyway, I think it would be wonderful to be able to travel and make a good living from doing business overseas, but without the lawyer side of it. Maybe, basically, I don't want to do college for six or seven years, haahahaha.
I know I am young and so maybe all this I said is dumb or whatever, but I think about it more and more.
