Game ain't balanced on Walker Assault.
They should add ground vehicles for the rebels, and maybe then it would have balance. Drawbacks for the rebels is that there are AT-AT's and AT-ST's shooting everywhere on the field.
The team has to multitask in order to win(rebels only) - one part of the team has to focus on AT-ST's while the other part has to tend the uplink stations so they can attack the AT-AT's.
Haven't mastered air fights yet and I suck at those.
The Hoth map feels really huge and empty.

Drop Zone is more balanced. Each team has to capture pods, the team that captures 5 pods wins. I just wish there are more Drop Zone maps than Walker Assault ones in the full game. Why I like this gamemode more? Smaller maps and no ground vehicles(just having bad impressions about vehicles from the Walker Assault mode).

Co-Op missions are... short? Seven minutes short.

Overall, this is still better than CoD(for me at least).
I'm still thinking whether or not I should get this. I'm passing on CoD BO3, that's for sure.

Last time I played Battlefront 2 was 10 years ago, so I can't compare which one is better.

Anyone else who tried out the Beta build? Opinions on it?

My friend really liked it, I never got a chance to play it, but I'll see when I get it once it comes out!

I cancelled my pre-order.
After playing the Beta for 15 hours I just came to the conclusion that this is going to fail. Too much bullshit is in the game. One of the main game modes is unbalanced and I doubt they'll fix it. Drop Zone pretty much feels like a Call of Duty game - small maps and such. Co-Op will definitely be shit, even on harder difficulties. No story mode. They haven't announced many weapons and it's already nearing the release date. Good G. I was hyped for the Beta but after experiencing it fully, I only got convinced to cancel my pre-order.

Going to be raping Fallout 4 when this game comes out.
PS: Can't wait to see how Disney is going to rape the Star Wars franchise these following years.

Shit, I just think that I'll never be happy no matter what they do. In reality I just wanted a HD revamped Battlefront 2. Instead I got a this weird hybrid between Battlefront 1 and Battlefield. No space battles, no clone wars, absolutely 0 reason to use first person, accuracy and recoil doesn't change even when using jetpacks, etc. Co-Op is going to get boring really quickly and will probably poof out of existence ;-; And wtf is with those arcade items like the power shield? Probably just something they scrapped from the clone wars droideka and they didn't want to completely remove it. Rebels have never had ground vehicles on Hoth, realistically you should win the map by smart use of trenches but they are basically useless. Otherwise it would be defending the tunnels by using the corners to set traps but not a single player will have defense in mind. They are all aggressive mindset players who run into the front lines trying to get as big a kill streak as possible.

Did Luke not pilot a snowspeeder against the AT-AT's in episode V?
Other than that, I agree with everything you said.

Snowspeeders aka T-47 Airspeeders? :P They aren't land vehicles like landspeeders since they are able to reach low planetary orbit if you push them hard enough. I would not count them as land vehicles. Just because a hover jet is able to fly close to the ground does not make it a land vehicle. That is just my opinion anyways. I haven't been paying much attention but do they have Tauntauns yet? Those were always what I remember the standard mode of transport of Rebels. Other than that all you really need to stop the vehicles being too overbearing is to make sure the turrets and trenches are actually effective at stopping enemies. Maybe re-add the massive shield generator on the original Hoth map, idk. I'm not experienced in balance, game design or map design so I'm just throwing out ideas that might be good or could easily be horrible and might make the game less enjoyable overall.

Fail. Been awhile since I watched Star Wars, I had a total different picture in my mind. Gonna rewatch the movies before the Disney one releases.
Nope, the game didn't have tauntauns.

No worries, I haven't seen them in ages either. I admit I had to actually do some research to make sure I wasn't just correcting you out of my arse
Tauntauns or riot. :guillotine:
