The only way you overcome self confidence prollems is by believin in urself bro. Even if ur scared or nervous about singin just push yourself to do it, and afterwards is when you decide if you want to feel like shit still lol. I had the same problem but after performing for family and friends heard you just get more and more used to it.

Take the Nike approach, just do it.
Honestly, one day you'll be dead. Why not do what you want? When you're older and more aware of your mortality, you'll regret not having done these things.

One just sing if you like singing. but if you do put it on youtube, it might help you to gain confidence to hear what others might say. then again, they may not like your singing voice. not everyone can be a good singer, I know I can't haha
so just go for it man

Best advice I got is to put yourself out there and do it! I had stage fright when it came to acting due to so much criticism of how I wouldn't ever be a good actor and I should just stick to singing. I conquered my fear this year and I got a supporting role in a play and now I'm active in my community theatre. Even if you aren't a good singer, I'm 100 percent sure you'll at least be happy you tried! :)

The best way to tackle a fear is to plunge right into it. When you're home alone, sing. It can build a lot of confidence. It sure did for me. As a result I'm more comfortable singing around others, and I'm way better at it too.
