It seems to depend on things like how hydrated I am, how long it's been since I last ejaculated, and how long I build up during that masturbation time before I shoot.

By the way, semen is mostly made up of things other than sperm. I think that what it looks like depends mostly on all those other components, and the amount of sperm shouldn't change your overall semen that much. The consistency can be variable. For me the longer it has been since I last ejaculated the thicker it is, the longer I have spent highly aroused before finally cumming the thinner it is.

Other than that I think older guys generally have thicker cum than younger guys but then once you've ejaculated it, it will tend to liquify over several minutes.
