Public Transport

What public transport do you use? How often do you use it? Do you prefer public transport or personal?

I use public transport (buses) every day. 45 minute bus ride to uni and a 45 minute bus ride back. My opinion... well, let's just say the sooner I can drive, the better.

I work in public transport so I know a little about it. I use it from time to time, but when I do it's mostly buses or trains. For the most part I actually just drive though.

I mostly get driven around by my boyfriend but if I use public transportation it's mostly when I'm depressed about something and just need the freedom.

I have heard so many bad things about public transit, especially in New York as well as Los Angeles.

Some days take the bus and other days im driven.

I take mostly buses but occasionally trains, I take the bus everyday to get to and from school, and I've never had personal transportation (that I can remember, we apparently had a car when I was little but I have no memory of it), so I wouldn't know.

I used to use public transport when I lived in Colombia (the transmilenio, or the bus of that place in other words) and even in Caracas I used the subway, however the place where I live now is so big and still mostly unknown to me, so I only take private cabs if I have to take something that isn't a car.

Buses. Cause that's all we have in my city.
I take it for occasional events and took it for my cram school.

I hardly ever use it, just the bus at nights when there aren't taxis.

Hardley ever use it. The bus is my second option on the rare occasion i leave tge house besides work

Take the bus to school and back pretty much every weekday and I drive the family car on the weekends to go do errands, family outings, etc. I also occasionally take the train when i'm going to the movies or up to the city, but definitely not as much as I used to.

I'm a bus fan (meaning I like riding it leisurely), but it's a pain to use as a commuter as I basically have to guess when the bus is going to come and hope I don't miss it. Even their "real time" app is off by quite a few minutes, sometimes up to an hour.

Since I got my license, I have not used public transport. About 4 years.

For me to catch the bus to the city, it costs me $10.50 each way, where as it costs me $2-$2.50 to drive in my own car.

Buses here aren't good - Usually only one every hour and a half or two hours.

Trains to get around the country and it's alright but very very crowded when I go into the major cities.

I usually take buses when I need to get somewhere, otherwise I'll walk.

I either walk or get a ride because there is no public transportation where I live.

I use public buses a lot, and all I can say is once I get my driver's license it's over for me!

There's not really any public transport where I live. My parents drive me everywhere.

I walk to school, but I would always prefer public rather than personal transport.

Where i live, there might be a taxi once a year to drop someone off. In the boondocks, there r no public busses. School busses, but not like a city bus. I use airplanes to go on vacation once a year, and ive never been on a passenger train.

I use the bus 3 days a week to get to college, its usually a 1hr 15 there and anywhere between 1hr 15-45 on the way back depending on traffic. I would so prefer to be able to drive there.

i dont use a lot of public trasportation but when i use i take Taxi :)

I prefer to take trains and I often do, but given how the public transport system is designed here, buses are often necessary.
