I know this might not be needed. But i think it would be a big benefit for the site to keep the users safe. The number of times i've been in chat there has been none there(sometimes) and none online to PM to ask to come into the chat.

I think it would be good to have a mod in chat. So ladies and gentleman tell me what you think.

The VT staff has all their authority in the Chat room for that very reason.

Um, that's what VT mods do. There would be no point to add any extra chatroom mods when we already have ones that maintain the forums.
And you can always PM any staff member regardless of whether or not they're online with chat logs. They might take a bit to get back to you but we will read all our PMs

Have some that are different timezones meaning whats early in the morning for us is basically evening for them. It's been done in the past only temporary in chat. And a little extra help wouldn't hurt in maintaining chat guidelines and rules.

We have 12 staff members, one in almost every continent. Everyone helps out modding chat, and it's generally moderated with the exception of when there is nobody online, which is less likely that one or more of us being online. I don't really think it's necessary to add more staff members to solely moderate chat when we already handle that.

If there are a few hours in the day when a mod isn't online there is certainly going to be a time where there aren't chat mods online. They'll have lives/school/work to take care of too.
