How often do girls get their periods? I've heard once a month or ever 3 weeks. How long does it last?

The average is every 28 days, but it varies. All girls are different. Mine is more like 30-32. They last 3-7 days, mine last 6, and the first two or three days are the most painful and heaviest bleeding.

My periods last a week, just about, and like Hannah, the first few days are rough with cramps, moodiness, and just generally feeling like shit all over. However, it still hasn't regulated, so I'd say I get mine about every month or maybe 5 weeks (assuming a month is 4 weeks).

I agree with Hannah, I'm always regular so mine are about 31-32 days apart. My first 3 days are always the heaviest and most painful as well.

Mine are pretty well regulated at this point. Happen about every 28 days (give or take a couple) and last 4-5 days.

I hear 28 days -- and -- if girls live together their periods can sync up no matter when they get them.

I'm fairly consistently between 24 and 28 days, and like others said the first three days are the worst and the two days after that are easier
