I Was Wondering How To Become A Moderator...
I've Been On Here For Quite A While 4+ Years & Think I Would Be A Great Moderator For The Site, So Any Idea How I Can Become A Moderator?

Either an Administrator will PM you asking if you would like to become a Moderator, or from time-to-time there will be applications available in this (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=34) Forum.

I could be wrong ( and I mean no offense by what I'm about to say ) but a member's amount of activity is somewhat of a factor in the selection. In the time that you have been here, 220 posts doesn't really make you appear that activie ( as I said though, I could be completely wrong about your amount of activity, I just don't see you on here often ).
Whatever though, it never hurts to apply again! :)
Also, you've technically been a member for 2 and a half years, not 4. :P

FYI, asking to become a moderator is a violation of intergalactic law.

From someone who spent a couple of years helping to select new mods, these are the things the senior staff generally look for (or at least did when I did it):
- Their posting quality in the forums they have applied to moderate in, including their general knowledge and attitude.
- Their activity on the site, including over the time frame before they applied for the position. The more often you're on and are seen in a variety of individual forums in the forum group you're applying for, the better your chances.
- Their age also has some influence, especially older members of the site. Unless you're already an established staff member it is less likely that you would be chosen if you're about 18/19+ as a new mod.

I Have Been A Member For 2 1/2 Years But Been Looking As A Anonymous For 1 1/2 Years, I Am On This Site Everyday, I Just Don't Post Everytime I'm Here. It Has To Be Something I Think Needs An Opinion For Me To Post On It

I'm pretty sure that a good level of activity, good quality of posts etc are what is looked for. Of course I'm not saying you don't meet either of those requirements, but perhaps being more active could help?

In all honesty, and I think the rest of the senior staff would agree with me, it's incredibly, incredibly rare that we'd ever promote someone who's already 20. It's not because we're ageist or don't care about the opinions of people over 19, but rather it's because it's largely a teen site and therefore most appropriate for mods to be in that age range when they're added.
