What to wear?

Hey so recently I lost most of my extra weight but I'm facing a kinda big problem

Throughout high school ive only worn sweatpants and hoodies so it really isn't too stylish tbh, any suggestions what I should wear? I know that it's a pretty stupid question but I really am lost, im a general like an average person and don't really want to "express" my self per-say but instead just dress well to school, I am Indian btw so I understand some colors won't suit me as well as others, aby suggestions will help a lot, for example what kind of Jean should I wear

I am a girl, so I don't know if you're going to want to take fashion advice from me, but here's what I have to say...

Dark wash, straight leg denim. Looks super flattering on almost anyone, comfortable, and darker looks more nice/formal than light wash.

Plain, short-sleeved Tshirts and Vnecks never go out of style.
I love American Eagle's clothing it is pretty good quality for the price & the style is cool, relaxed, and causal.
H&M is pretty cool too, overall cheaper than AE, most of their clothing is pretty plain and casual.

Sweatpants can look good.

Get a black pair and wear it with large hi top shoes, it looks good!

I'd recommend wearing shirts of things you like. I have like 8 classic rock t shirts because I like classic rock. Oh and American eagle jeans are really nice for their price of $40 without discount.

can you go shopping and have someone with you - I really think you have to try on different styles and sizes - see what you like rather than what others might suggest.

I agree that darker color jeans and maybe a nice jacket can look great.
