if you dont want to ruin your friendship, then you dont need to tell him about your feelings because he probably already knows. just cherish what you have an protect it as best you can, develop boundaries for yourself and hold to them. if he is really your best friend, you dont want to take any chances.

I'm not sure how he'd feel really, and id feel bad if I had to keep it quiet because then i wouldnt be being completely truthful with him :)

I've been in a similar situation it got so bad I couldn't stand it anymore and told him how I felt. we talked about it and we decided we were cool with still being friends. We actually seem to be closer since we talked.

Try and bring it up informally with him. Don't be too forward and see how it goes :-)

Not telling him you have feelings for him doesn't necessarily mean you're being untruthful. You should only tell him if he asks you first, or subtly drop some hints that you like him a bit more than a friend.

i told my straite friend that i have a masive crush on him he said that it din't bother him if anything we get on better for as he said he now knew that i didnt think i had to keep stuff from him he said it meant the world that i was honest instead of bottleing the feelings up
