Yes, it will dry and, as you have probably discovered, the dried out patch is there to be seen. It does generally come out in the laundry, though. It is really up to you - some people go to some trouble to keep cum off their sheets and blankets, either because they don't want anyone to see a crusty patch or because they don't like the idea of it being in their bed, others don't care.

Personally I much prefer wanking in bed to the other locations you mentioned and almost always do it there. If I know I won't be disturbed and it is not too cold I will lie on the bed with the blankets pulled back and be on my back when I cum so it goes on my stomach and chest (and not on the blankets). If I am more likely to be disturbed or if it is cold I will have the covers over me and then pull them back at the last minute or have them within easy grabbing distance to cover up if I hear someone coming.
