Hey guys! :)

Seeing that the last post on this was way back in 2010, I might as well re-create this topic. Just wondering, have you guys been to an online chat community? Those kinda interactive worlds, where you chat and build stuff. I kinda like them, as I am a simulation fan! :)

I have been (or have played) playing Habbo, Second Life, The Sims Online (EA-Land, now defunct) and even BittyBay. I am quite an early adopter of all of the mentioned communities.

What are your thoughts on virtual communities?

I'm not a member of any, I'm a big player of Sims3 but I've never been an "online experience" type of person. I don't even play XBOX online, I'm perfectly fine with single player.

I joined Second Life a few months ago but had huge problems loading it. I also used Smallworlds for a while but it wasn't that great. I like simulation-type games too but I haven't found a virtual community that I would stick with.

Does Runescape count? It was an MMORPG but the community there was strong, so I could sit a place for hours chatting...
