Ok so I met this girl through a mutual friend and I've known her for about 4 months now. We do talk a some, but not that much, I'd like to get to know better. She's told my friend before that she thinks I'm cute. My friend thinks I should let her know how I feel and we could have like a mock date and we could get to know each other better. But I'm really shy, especially when it comes to her and I'm not the funniest guy, I'm funnier when I'm not trying to be funny so I've been told. I've been stressing over this and I'm trying to figure out if I should tell her or if I should just forget about the whole thing. My question is should I let her know how I feel or should I just forget all of it? Maybe give some ideas how to say it.

hmm.. i wouldn't talk about feelings yet... maybe invite her out for a drink or icecream... and like u say... get to know eachother a little bit more...

and how to say it.... there's only one way.... just saying it... like
u: "hey, what's up?"
she: "nothing, just bored"
u: "wanna go take a walk or something?"

sort of... dunno. u'll find out something better XD

If you got the guts, you could say something like this:
'I find myself attracted to you and I want to know you better than Im already lucky to. Have you got any thoughts about that?'

Short, directly and simple. It would definitely work on me and probably most girls, who aren't lesbians (nothing wrong with lesbians).
By comming clean and expressing the feeling and daring to, shows her great respect and thats an awesome start for you two. I hope this will help. Good luck.
