Rep points?

Hi no this isnt the standard question

Is your rep point level directly related to how much your allowed to give out?
Cause mines at 20 and I gave it to like i think three people and now it wont let me give it to anyone else for at least 24hrs

I used to be able to give it to more people like I could click more than I can now

So is it directly related?

I think its designed to stop people giving out rep to too many people at once. Since if everyone gave out rep like cookies, everyone would have 3 bar rep

As it stands, and as far as I know the settings have not changed. You can give it to 5 people in 24 hours, and you have to give it to 12 users before you can give it to the same user again.

Yeah well it does stop people giving out too much rep, like theres a timer of like 15 or 30 seconds for posting so you dont spam just to get your post count up.

Yea I have just checked you have given it 5 times, some were last night. Just will have to wait! :P

I think people with rep power of 20+ should be able to give out more rep, because at least then we'll know they're not going to abuse it.

As far as I know individual or group settings can not be set for this, kinda like a one rule for everyone case.
