Steam Vs Origin

Ok I wanna know which you guys prefer?, I use both but I mainly only use steam, the only reason I use origin is because of the sims 3.

Steam, it's alot friendlier, runs on multiple platforms, Ea didnt do well with Origin, it often crashes on me or wont let me play my games.

I'm not a huge fan for Origin, steam is better in my imo. A lot easier to make transactions, customer support is nice, it runs on multiple platforms which I'm a huge fan of. Also because Gabe.

And second their Origin product sucks. With forced localized language by IP, this drove me INSANE when I was working in another country... And the different selections.

Steam because, I needed to wait 2 or3 days after I bought a game on Origin till I could download it. Then wherefore are the preferences of online destribution, in that timeI could have walked into a store and bought it.

I think the only reason people have Origin is because certain games require it. Given the choice, I wouldn't have Origin.

Origin is just EA's way of competing with Steam. Steam is original, it works better, and it offers amazing sales. Origin doesn't even compare.

Steam. Origin is not as smooth, the sales are lackluster, there are less titles, and it's just annoying to use. Steam does have it's issues as well, but they are no where near as noticeable as the ones Origin has.

Steam will probably always be better. Pretty stupid how they created origin. so much easier to have everything in one place like steam.

I won't use Origin because of how money hungry EA has become with all their apps that clog up the Google Play app store. Haha, it really annoys me, and I hate them now... so I will always use Steam because atleast to my knowledge all they sell is games unlike what EA did with The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have both but use steam the most by far. I think it's far more reliable than origin is also it has a much larger variety of what you can do with it and what you can get on it.

I HATE Origin, twice I have gone to activate games and it has goofed and locked me out, ruining my game and not letting me play, there servers lost my Dead Space 3 save and I had to start over, it's horrible. It's FORCED upon you, the store has f*ck all on it and whats on there is made by EA so you know....most likely not work it....
Origin just plane doesn't work.
Where as Steam, also forced upon you, actually works, so ye. Its made by Vale, its fairly good/stable software. I have never once had an issue with it, the store has HUGE chgouce of games. And most of all, it just works.

So as you can tell, Steam fan boy in the room.

Steam wins in nearly every aspect for me- ease of use, social system, game sale prices, game variety. The only thing I can give Origin credit for is massive download speeds and customer support.
